Summer in the geology lab

Kelsey Engelke’25 conducted research in the geology lab on campus with samples she collected during her field work for her senior thesis on Petrography and Biostratigraphy of Late Devonian Sandstones from Southwestern Illinois.

With videographer Alex Page and editor Mason Sorenson’25, the award-winning film highlights how community and connection helped them overcome life’s obstacles together.

Writing Center is open for tutoring
Trained Writing Center peer tutors are available to help all students with each stage or aspect of any writing task. Sessions can either be in person (625 College St.) or by video conference. Schedule your session with the Writing Center.

Many alumni fondly remember the Beloit Plan and its required Field Term that sent students off campus and around the world. This Beloit group is at the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu, Peru, circa 1970s.

Homecoming has always been a beloved tradition at Beloit. In addition to the parades and events, students would make house decorations were commonly placed in front of fraternities and sororities and vied to win contests.
